The Weather Is Here, Wish You Were Beautiful

Keith's hair is very long!!! Last night was the first night that I spent time with Keith since we broke up and although it was only an hour or so, it was one of the best times.

I couldn't believe I missed Mandy's shindig. I was in tears. But, when she gets back I know that she and I will do something amazing to make up for it. I will miss her for the week she is gone. It isn't that I see her everyday, but knowing that I won't be able to makes it hard. She will have the time of her life on her trip and I just want her back safely.

Happy Birthday Mandy!!!

I just have to say that I am blessed. I have a boyfriend who is in love with me, friends who want to hang out with me, and a family who will do anything for me. I am one lucky girl.

Things have been great in the past couple of weeks. I haven't seen Keith that much and it was starting to bother me, but we fixed the situation and I am starting to see him a lot more.

I have been playing catch up with lots of my friends lately. I have spent lots of time with Lara and Joel during which Joel and I started a group called Stalkers United.

I cheated and gave Mandy her birthday gift early so I am ready for that party.

St.Patty's day was fun!!! The one day of the year when my favorite color is EVERYWHERE!!! Plus I made out with a few people that day and that was fun.

Nicholas is gone now. He injured his finger during practice but they are not sending him home. Since he is playing with a broken finger, they figured he wants to be there and will allow him to stay.

I love my parents.

I love my friends.

I love my Keith.

My new digital camera arrives today!!! I am saying good bye to my old one and saying hello to my new HP Photosmart R967 with 10 megapixels!!!! As you can tell, I am ecstatic!!!!

This year, just the same as the last, was amazing. This is my second time celebrating with Keith. I have to say that it gets better and better. And I must be the most simple girl out there or pretty close to it because I am blissfully happy with dinner and a movie, a teddy bear and a card, and to end the evening, a good night kiss. It is the simple things in life. The card Keith gave me brought tears to my eyes. It was lovely. He is lovely. And to share this day with him is unbelieveable. I am so happy that he is himself and that that wonderful, amazing, handsome man loves me.

On a side note, I do miss my original Valentine Shannon. She and I celebrated three years in a row and I am sad to say that last year we retired our tradition, but the memories live on.

Sorry for the sappy love post, but I am in love and wanted to share that Keith treats me well and it was a great day for me. And in the past I have had some awful Valentine's days, but the past two times I have celebrated seemed to have erase those horrible feelings of hatred for this special day.

Well being that Keith's birthday is in a couple of weeks I figured I would give out the information. Everyone is invited. It isn't a surprise so feel free to call him about it.

Yesterday Keith and I celebrated our first year together! Our night included dinner at Highlights, taking in some music at the Chill, and settling down at Adventures. All of this was done with two great friends, Judy and Art. We took some photos to document the day, shared laughter, and talked for hours. It was amazing.

In other news...Christmas time is here and I am loving every minute of it. Kim is coming home today and our shopping will start on Monday.

I just realized that some things in life seem so horrible, but if you look close enough, they can be a blessing. I just recently went through something like that and it turned out to be for the better. And love is always worth it!

On November 27, 2005 the most wonderful first step in my relationship with Keith took place in the late hours of the night. I had gone to the rehearsal for the play that I was working props for and for which he was acting in. After rehearsals I invited him back to my house to help me clean. I never intended to clean, but I had to get him there somehow. He came over even under the pretenses of having to do work. Instead of cleaning we decided to watch a movie. I allowed him to pick the movie as long as it was a movie I wanted to watch. The movie that we agreed on was “Pirates of the Caribbean” and during it we got lost in conversation. I noticed that we kept trying to get closer and closer to each other. We were sitting on the floor and staring into each others eyes. I made a little joke about the ‘end of the night’ kiss and he laughed. He thought it was interesting that we hadn’t kissed and that I was mentioning the awkward moment that was going to happen and we talked about it for a few moments. Then I leaned in more and asked him if he wanted to kiss me. After he said yes, I just closed my eyes and let him take over. It was amazing and beautiful. After it was over I just kept telling him that he was an amazingly good kisser. At the end of the movie it was time for him to go. I am not sure what happened the rest of the night. All I remember was the feeling I had from the kiss. That kiss will always be the best one we will ever have.

I finally met my two nephews and yes, I fell in love instantly! They are the only two nephews I have and they are too adorable to let go. I just LOVE them to death. They are leaving tomorrow and I just wish I had more time with them. Since their arrival last Friday I have hugged and kissed them every chance I got. Now I wish they were staying. There is a house for sale on my block and my sis and her hubby could just live there and I could see them everyday. I have had a great time with all of them. My sister and I got to spend some one on one time that was nice.

We have all had one busy week and it is so amazing that it almost feels too good. I just wish it could continue. But I know all good things must come to an end...

Yesterday I stayed in pajamas all day long feeling like a wet noodle living in a house with no food. Knowing this, Keith went to McDonald's and bought me dinner. He brought it by and stayed for a bit. What a guy!!!!

I had a thirty two minute conversation with Mandy tonight and it was the most needed conversation about nothing and everything. I LOVE that girl!!!

Last night after a wonderful meal of beans & rice several of us headed to the IP. It was a great crew consisting of Keith, Nicholas, Pat, and Jordyn. The guys went off and did their own thing and Jordyn and I played blackjack. I won fifty! The night was simple, but it was nice that everyone wanted to go together.
